We are SOOOO excited we got a dog. He's a 6 month old Beagle with lots of personality! We found him on craigslist and just fell in love with him. I couldnt believe we were getting another dog after being so adament I would not get another beagle because of their difficulty in getting trained (some tend to be really stubborn). We were so desperate with the situation with our last dogs that we gave them away! We definitely regret that decision and realized afterwards it was nobodys fault but our own for not spending the necessary time to properly train the dogs. We were both working full time back then and didnt have the time for them. Now that I'm home full time I have been itching for another dog.
We are undecided on the name, I like the names "Buster" and "Freckles" cause he has lots of cute little freckles around his nose. We are working on potty training him. I'm taking him outside every 1/2 hour. He's been acting pretty hyper but I'm assuming its because this is all new to him and he's playing with the boys. If you have any great training ideas, please let me know!!!!
He loves this toy!
Robert and Ryan are so in love with this dog. He plays SO well with them too. They can pull his ears and poke his eyes and he still would not do anything. They are so good with kids.

Thank you!
Robert's welcome home gathering and house warming party was a BLAST! We were sad not everyone was able to make it but we still had a really great time with everyone that was there. It was so nice to spend time with good friends while eating yummy food! Well except the garlic bread that I forgot about in the oven!!!! LOL... there's the Sanguine in me... Thank you to all that we're there, and for those that couldnt make it there will always be a next time! It's been sooooo nice finally having Robert home, I dont know how many times I've said that but it really is nice! The kids had a great time with their two little friends and they kept us laughing all night. After everyone left and I went to bed I realized I had not taken ANY pictures! I was so bummed it didnt even occur to me since I was just hanging out with everyone enjoying their company. Darn it! Thanks again for joining us and being there to welcome Robert home, you guys made it special and memorable.

Change of Date- Again! Last time I promise...
We've decided to change the date for October 11th. We want to make sure our closest friends and family are here with us to celebrate and I know most of you guys will be out of town the previous weekend.
So it will be the Saturday on October 11th, I promise not to change it anymore! LOL... It will be kind of weird celebrating a week after he's back but the important thing is that he is coming back and we will be celebrating with all of you guys! I cant wait and I hope you all can make it.
I'm thinking we're going to do a potluck, there's going to be a lot of people!

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!
After nearly 15 months, Robert IS COMING HOME!!!! I was literally jumping for joy when Robert gave me the news earlier today that he got the job! I was in tears I was so excited. We've been waiting for this day for soooo long and I cant think of a better wedding anniversary gift from our heavenly father than this one!
I still cannot believe this is real, I am so HAPPY! I'm not sure how many times I asked Robert, "You're lying... you're just kidding... tell me you're not playing around..." over and over again, I just could not believe this was happening!
The amazing thing is that exactly 7 days ago I started fasting for 7 days so that he would get the job, and today was the last day. Thank you to all who kept us in your prayers!
This is DEFINITELY going to be celebrated with a welcome home and house warming party. Exactly as I wanted it. I didn't want a housewarming party until he was back home! He starts his new job here on September 29, so the party will be the Saturday before on the 27th so save the date! It will be a full house because EVERYONE'S invited! I'll keep you all posted with more details about it as the date comes closer!!! WOOHOOO!!!!

Happy Anniversary (6 years)
Well today is definitely going to be a memorable day for our anniversary, particularly because we both didn't REMEMBER it was our anniversary today!!! lol... In my mind, I was completely thinking we were in August. Well that was my excuse! No, I really did think we we're in August. It completely slipped from Robert's mind too.
How can this be?!?!? Crazy, I know. I'm blaming it on the whole move, we've been soooo occupied with all that stuff for weeks now. We realized it was today
when we got a reminder on Robert's calendar that it was our anniversary and our friend, Kurt Bucy's birthday (HAPPY B-DAY KURT!).
So we decided to do something completely original, we went to the movies and had lunch! lol... it was fun though. Although I am regretting watching a scary movie, "Mirrors" now that Robert left. Looks like I'll be sleeping with the night light on and in between my two little protectors, Robis and Ryan!
Here are some pictures from our wedding. 6 years and two precious boys later, I'm so happy and blessed to be married to this man. He's the most loving husband I could ever ask for. Our marriage has been the wildest roller coaster ride, with it's ups and downs, but I'm so glad that we've made it through all the happy times, and the rough times, such as this one! Robert is not just my hubby, he's my best friend- I LOVE YOU HONEY!
This is my wonderful dad dancing the father daughter dance, "You are so beautiful to me" He has the biggest heart for all of his children, I happen to be his favorite (don't tell my sisters!lol)
I don't think it's a coincidence that I chose to sing, "How do I live without you" by Leanne Rymes on our wedding. All of the lyrics in that song- look how that song perfectly fits our current situation...
I cannot wait until we are re-united again so that we can be together again as a family without the goodbyes! Please say a prayer for us.

Battleling Scorpions!
Hey everyone,
Sorry I've been away and haven't been blogging lately. I've been super busy with the move, we've been at our new place for almost 1 week now! So we bought a house that was a foreclosure and needed some work. The house was vacant for at least 3-4 months and the people who lived there before really trashed the place (rotting food in the fridge). Yeah really gross. But we looked past that 'cause we knew a little TLC , new paint and flooring would make the difference. Hopefully I'll post some before and after pics and you'll see what I mean!
Since the house was vacant for so long, you can imagine there was a pest problem. We immediately hired an exterminator after several failed attempts of killing them ourselves with sprays, bombs, you name it. We've been battleling scorpions and brown recluse spiders! Before we moved in we wanted to make sure the pest issue was taken care of, obviously because of the kids. After the exterminator went out there everything appeared to be dead, no more bugs in the traps and no more scorpions- so we thought.
So we moved in and two days ago I find this:
I seriously tried but I couldn't force myself to step on it! I panicked and so I just brought out my vacume and vacummed the scorpion, took out the bag and placed it inside another bag and took it out to the trash! That really freaked me out, but we're having an exterminator come out here again to do his thing because I'm so scared I'm constantly looking at the floor and the kids wear their shoes 24/7!
So I've just been busy with the kids, unpacking, painting, cleaning, you know the drill. It's so stressful when you move. I just felt so overwhelmed with the to do list that comes with moving! But things are finally settling down and the worst part is over! I'm hoping to jump back and start blogging some more here really soon!
